If you don't feel like walking or biking, a carriage tour can be nice. The City of Beaufort has two carriage tour companies, Southurn Rose Buggy Tours (yes that is the letter u where you usually see an e) and Sea Island Carriage Company. The horses are treated well and are not allowed to work when it gets too hot.
